The National GSF Foundation Donates $25,000 to American Red Cross to Help Victims of Hurricane Harve

As Hurricane Harvey’s storm begins to weaken, the devastation of the aftermath still looms. Hurricane Harvey is said to be the most powerful storm to hit the United States mainland in more than a decade. The federal relief needed is estimated to far surpass Hurricane Katrina, which to this day, was the costliest storm in U.S. history.

This storm has impacted hundreds of thousands of people, including GSF associates, their families and customers. To help ease the pain of those children and families suffering from the hurricane’s destruction, the National GSF Foundation will donate $25,000 to the American Red Cross to provide shelter, food, emotional support and other necessities to those affected.

“This contribution represents just one of the many ways that GSF associates have come together to help local children and families who have been impacted by this hurricane,” said Anna Lisa Lukes, GSF Director, Corporate Social Responsibility and Executive Director, GSF Foundation, the charitable division of GSF whose mission is to serve children and families in need in the local areas where GSF associates live and work. “We will continue to keep all of those affected in our thoughts and prayers.”
